Happy New Year to all of our members, past and present. We wish you a year of health, happiness, and lacrosse of course!

We have some important upcoming dates ~ please mark them on your calendar.

Firstly, our 2009 Annual General Meeting is coming soon. Please mark Thursday, January 15th on your calendars. Our AGM is the time to vote in a new executive, or simply to give your feedback on past and upcoming seasons. Come on out and have your say! The AGM takes place at Iroquois Park (Sports Garden) at 7:00 p.m. We will be electing the following positions:

President, Secretary, Director of Box Lacrosse,  Director of Finance, Director of Marketing, Director of Registration and Director of Master’s Lacrosse 

 

Secondly, many of you have heard of the upcoming Truly Lacrosse Cares (TLC) game on April 24 – 25, 2009. Many players and fans from the Whitby Area are organizing a 30 hour game (the longest indoor game in history!) to raise money for the Children’s Wish Foundation. Registration will be held by mail anytime, or on the following dates:

January 15 ~ 6:30 p.m. ~ Whitney Hall (Iroquois Park) at the DWLL AGM

February 21 ~ 8:00 – 4:00 ~ Iroquis Park at the Whitby Minor Registration
